Each Avenue Mortgage Net Branch has to pay a Per File Fee that is significantly greater than
our fee of $495 per file. Additionally they do not offer a flat fee program that allows you to eliminate
Per File Fees altogether.
It's also worth noting that they are only approved with about 50 lenders whereas we are approved with
over 150 lenders. In this day and age it's very important that you have access to as many programs
as possible.
Many brokers also take issue with Avenue Mortgage requirement that you must be assigned a 'mentor' to oversee your operations, i.e., to 'show you the ropes, answer questions' and help you succeed with their programs. This could, of course, be seen as a positive if you are new to the business and require such assistance.
At this point in time their company does not offer Loan Modification, Debt Settlement or Loss Mitigation Services whereas we do. We believe that program diversity helps our brokers capture as many clients as possible. We also offer benefits to our brokers such as health care and 401K. When all things are considered we think you'll find that our Branch Program confers many more benefits to you.
